How long is the Franchise Agreement?

Every Advanced Property Auction franchisee is granted a 5 years franchise agreement.

The franchise agreement contains all your rights and obligations as a franchisee and includes a right of renewal (this is subject to your compliance with the terms of the agreement).

Is there a protected franchise territory?

Yes. All franchisees get a protected franchise area that allows them to build up the business over the long term.

Having a protected territory gives you security and the knowledge that you can grow your business.

What training will I receive?

All our franchisees receive a comprehensive franchise induction training programme that gives you an insight into every aspect of the business.

You’ll be spending times with us to understand how we develop the relationships with local agents and support them to sell the service and understand how the auction process works from a technical point of view.

We also provide training and support in all areas of business and financial management.

Is there a Franchise Operations manual?

Yes. We will use it to train you as well as provide a hard and electronic copy for you to use on a day to day basis.

Remember, it’s an important document so you must ensure it remains confidential. We’ll be updating on a regular basis to ensure it reflect the business.

Will the franchisor provide ongoing support with marketing the properties on the site?

Our marketing support is extensive and includes comprehensive digital marketing campaigns for all properties through our website and social media platforms on an ongoing basis.

What about the legal and insurance requirements in property auctions and sale?

Don’t worry – we’ve got this all covered in our existing systems and we’ll support our franchisees to ensure you have the right cover in place for both public liability insurance and professional indemnity requirements.

Can I sell my Advanced Property Auction franchise?

Our franchise agreement offers this opportunity subject to our approval of the incoming franchisee.

Subject to the success and profitability of your individual business it is normally possible to sell a franchise for a significantly increased capital value for the benefit of the outgoing franchisee.

We envisage that as the franchise network matures our franchisees businesses will start to increase in capital value and some of our franchisees will want to sell their businesses either to release the capital or retire.

We use a very structured recruitment process for all our potential franchisees. The recruitment process usually takes 4-8 weeks (subject to agreeing a franchise territory and getting finance in place). This is a big decision for us both, so it’s got to be right.
